Project Manager

Leap29 is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) committed to transforming the renewable energy landscape across Southern Europe. Our client, a pioneer in solar PV and energy storage, operates extensively in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, driving the transition to clean energy through innovative projects. We are seeking a talented Project Manager with a strong procurement background to join their dynamic team and support ambitious project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage renewable energy projects, primarily in solar PV and energy storage, from initiation through to completion.
• Provide support in procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract management, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and environmental teams to meet compliance, quality, and project performance standards.
• Regularly monitor and report on project progress, risks, and deliverables, ensuring all teams stay aligned on project goals.
• Identify opportunities for procurement efficiencies and support procurement strategy within the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven background in procurement, including experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and procurement software is a plus.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese being advantageous.
