Role:
As a Data Analyst within the e-bank division of one of Europe’s leading financial institutions, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that shape strategic decisions and drive digital banking innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging advanced analytical tools to enhance customer experience, optimize operational performance, and support compliance and security efforts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Tasks
•Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business intelligence and decision-making.
•Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various banking systems using SSIS to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
•Perform detailed data analysis on MSSQL databases, including querying, data modeling, and cleansing to facilitate robust reporting and analytics.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
•Monitor and evaluate data flows, troubleshooting issues as they arise and implementing improvements where necessary.
•Prepare documentation for data processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.
•Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support regulatory compliance, risk management, and product development initiatives.
•Assist in the migration and integration of legacy data systems with modern analytical platforms.
Requirements:
•4–7 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
•Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, SSIS-related credentials) are an advantage.
•Advanced proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
•Strong working knowledge of MSSQL, including database design, SQL querying, and optimization.
•Hands-on experience with ETL processes, particularly with SSIS for managing complex data workflows.
•Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and security standards in financial institutions.
•Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PSD2, and other relevant European financial regulations.
