Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into applications.
- Design and implement data storage solutions that meet application requirements.
- Monitor application performance and diagnose issues for prompt resolution.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Create and maintain application configurations and deployment documentation.
- Develop RESTful APIs to manage data interchange between the server and users.
- Implement security measures and data protection protocols effectively.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and apply them in development processes.
- Provide technical support and contribute to the overall team success.
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, and understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation is crucial.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git and SVN.
- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Solid understanding of database technologies like MongoDB or MySQL.
