About The Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Firmware QA team in Norway.
In This Role, You Will:
- Work closely with the development team to test and validate software components in a Linux-based networking environment.
- Certify customer agents running on embedded Linux routers.
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end testing systems.
- Perform manual testing to validate firmware functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to debug and resolve issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with test automation and scripting.
- Experience with manual testing in embedded or networking environments.
- Familiarity with Linux networking (e.g., ‘ip’ command, network interfaces, IPv4 and standard protocols such as DHCP/DNS).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with our international team.
- Previous experience with Python and Pytest for test automation.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, including system administration and networking.
- Hands-on experience with WiFi protocols and OpenWRT.
- Familiarity with Scapy and/or Wireshark.
- Experience testing gateways or other networking devices.
