About The Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Firmware QA team in Norway.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Work closely with the development team to test and validate software components in a Linux-based networking environment.
  • Certify customer agents running on embedded Linux routers.
  • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end testing systems.
  • Perform manual testing to validate firmware functionality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to debug and resolve issues.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with test automation and scripting.
  • Experience with manual testing in embedded or networking environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux networking (e.g., ‘ip’ command, network interfaces, IPv4 and standard protocols such as DHCP/DNS).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with our international team.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Previous experience with Python and Pytest for test automation.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, including system administration and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with WiFi protocols and OpenWRT.
  • Familiarity with Scapy and/or Wireshark.
  • Experience testing gateways or other networking devices.
