Job Summary
Job Title: Network Security Engineer Location: DMAT UAE AbuDhabi Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security design, cloud environments, and a strong understanding of zero trust architectures. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our enterprise network and cloud services. Responsibilities Design and evolve highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise network and cloud environments (LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD WAN, hybrid cloud). Define network security and web application security architectures, standards, and best practices aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain integration of wireless networks with Network Access Control (NAC) and identity services (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass). Architect and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, AWS Web Application Firewall, Security DDoS protections, and segmentation strategies. Lead zero trust network initiatives and secure remote access programs. Maintain high availability and performance of network services and infrastructure. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents and outages. Secure both network and application environments from evolving threats. Conduct risk assessments, Web Penetration Testing, vulnerability scans, and security reviews across infrastructure and web applications. Support and maintain network and security infrastructure integration with SIEM and Enterprise Monitoring tools. Perform advanced TapRoot for critical network and security incidents. Mandatory Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong expertise with Fortinet firewalls. In depth understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing/switching, VPNs, SSL, DNS, DHCP. Hands on experience in Application security & testing, Secure SDLC practices, and vulnerability management. Strong understanding of zero trust architectures, Cisco SD WAN, NAC, and Cloud Infrastructure. Preferred Skills Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and HP Aruba security solutions. Experience with Software Defined Data Center Technologies (Cisco/Arista). Knowledge of Ansible For Network Automation is a plus. Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP), NSE, F5/FortiADC or equivalent preferred. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background in network security, with a proven track record of managing complex network environments. Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment are essential.
