Job Description – Infrastructure Engineer (Network & Security)
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers (Network & Security) to support enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The consultants will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network and security components to ensure a secure, resilient, and scalable environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
• Implement and manage network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, SSL VPN).
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
• Perform network performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Work with cross-functional teams (systems, applications, vendors) to ensure seamless integration.
• Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures. (HLD, LLD, UAT)
• Support migration, upgrade, and deployment activities while minimizing downtime and risks.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with: o Firewalls (e.g., Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet,) o Switching/routing (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent) o VPNs, load balancers,
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and compliance practices.
• Familiarity with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) designs.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE , Fortinet NSE, etc.) preferred.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Problem-solving with focus on risk mitigation.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in project-driven environments.
