Job Summary:
The Manager, Value Proposition & Lifecycle Management is responsible for leading the development and execution of initiatives that help customers make real financial progress. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Value Proposition.
The individual will oversee the creation and delivery of comprehensive communication strategies and customer journeys that engage, inform, and nurture customer relationships. Success in this role requires strong expertise in data-driven decision-making, lifecycle campaign strategy, customer experience, execution, and performance measurement. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Digital, Marketing, Analytics, Customer Segments, Customer Loyalty, Salesforce Enablement, and other business partners. In addition, the individual will manage projects end-to-end by working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and lifecycle strategies, including offers and campaigns, and partner with Marketing and other teams to execute. Monitor performance and recommend optimizations.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify strengths, gaps, and actionable insights.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting and effectively leverage Power BI dashboards to monitor performance and growth metrics, identify trends, and recommend action plans.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build business cases by identifying needs, evaluating potential solutions, and assessing ROI.
- Define and implement strategic roadmaps for banking products and services, including project and budget approvals.
- Support change management initiatives, focusing on execution and sustainment activities.
- Continuously improve processes to identify issues and enhance the overall customer experience.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry or related field, along with a post-secondary degree in a related area (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong knowledge of banking product management and customer lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in using Power BI dashboards (viewing and analyzing, not necessarily building).
- Demonstrated experience in executing customer strategies and value propositions that required cross-functional collaboration and project management.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end lifecycle campaigns, including strategy, execution, and performance measurement.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to consolidate insights into strategies and business cases.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Previous experience at a leading Canadian bank.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
