About the Role:

Position: Product Designer

Location: Remote (Canada)

Summary:

The purpose of the team include answers on Bing that includes searches such as Recipes, Jobs, Restaurants, Professional Services, etc. This role will be support designers on the team and may be able to lead specific answer segments.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years experience Figma
• Minimum 1 year experience with Adobe tools
• Minimum 1 years experience with AI tools
• Minimum 3-5 years experience Prototyping

The main function of a Product Designer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies to support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Production support using templates and layouts based on specs provided by design leads.
• May assist with presentations.

Qualifications:

• Have a good understanding of UX (user experience, web, and mobile interaction patterns). Strong visual/UI design skills.
• Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: color, typography, layout, brand.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under constant deadline constraints.
• Must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively.
• Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (i.e. Figma)
• Portfolio for a review with design lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related program. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Requirement:

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years of experience required for the role
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related program. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• Disqualifiers: Resumes without a portfolio with work that has been produced (not exploratory work or conceptions), must have journey range to showcase end to end process.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate has a good understanding of UX (user experience, web, and mobile interaction patterns), Strong visual/UI design skills, Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: color, typography, layout, brand, strong communication skills, ability to work under constant deadline constraints, proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (ex.figma), be a strong team member, working together with all team members to accomplish the same goal.

Salary Range: $85,000 to 95,000 Annually Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
