IT Security Analyst V (Contract – 1 Year with Possibility of Extension/Conversion)
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Security Analyst to join a collaborative and tight-knit banking team focused on technology risk and governance. This is an onsite position located in Toronto (2 days per week currently, moving to 4 days starting November.
Contract Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 1 year (ending October 2026)
- Hours: 37.5 per week (M–F, core business hours)
About the Role
The End User Computing (EUC) Governance program is undergoing significant transformation to strengthen the framework and controls around technology risks. The IT Security Analyst will play a key role in supporting EUC inventory management, technology asset lifecycle processes, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory analysis and develop ongoing reporting to monitor portfolio risks
- Manage day-to-day operational processes to ensure consistency and quality
- Investigate production issues, test resolutions, and document outcomes
- Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements
- Collaborate with technology teams on solution design and implementation activities
- Provide stakeholder support on EUC standards and systems usage
- Update and maintain SharePoint content when required
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience (banking/financial sector strongly preferred)
- Proven expertise in cyber and technology risk assessments (5+ years)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (5+ years) and JIRA (5+ years)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex technical topics
- Degree preferred, though relevant work experience is prioritized
Nice to Have
- Experience with Archer GRC
- Prior exposure to SharePoint content management
