The Agora Companies is searching for a talented and motivated Web Application Developer to join our team in Mt. Vernon. In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, product owners, and fellow developers to architect, build, and maintain high-quality web applications, APIs, and services for both internal and external users.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain internal and external websites, APIs, services, and systems.
- Build solutions using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, REST, GraphQL, and headless CMS platforms.
- Apply best practices to optimize, scale, and secure applications and websites deployed on AWS.
- Advocate for product quality by identifying improvements and opportunities to streamline development processes.
- Collaborate on code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members across varying experience levels.
- Partner with stakeholders—including designers, product managers, and analysts—to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Scope, architect, and estimate project requirements while balancing speed of delivery with high-quality standards.
- 3+ years of full-stack web development experience supporting high-availability, large-scale web applications and systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results.
