Position - Laravel Engineer

Location - Mountain View, California

Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days onsite

Duration: 12+ Month

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Laravel Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable web applications using the Laravel PHP framework, along with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of modern web development practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and debug production errors.
  • Manage and maintain databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and write optimized queries.
  • Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel and PHP trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Laravel Developer / PHP Developer (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and RESTful API development.
  • Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js/React/Angular is a plus).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
