Network Administrator

Job Title: Network Admin

Location (city, state): San Francisco, CA

Compensation: 40/hr - 45/hr

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

Day-to-Day: go into the data centers twice per week to handle things such as troubleshooting circuits, rack & stacking, "sanity & health checks", check connections, replace cables, etc. There are some network refreshes coming up that could create a little more onsite work but these refreshes are typically once every 3 years so not super frequent.

MUST HAVE:

• Confident with Cisco troubleshooting
• Confident with ping and trace routes
• Know how to log into a switch and router
• Understand Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Ability to rack and stack equipment in data centers
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds
• Ability to travel 20-30%

NICE TO HAVE:

• Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience with BGP & EIGRP protocols
