Salary: 18L to 35L based on fitment

About the Role
Seeking a visionary and hands-on Product Designer who is passionate about demystifying insurance for everyone. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our digital products, owning both the end-to-end user experience (UX) strategy and the final look and feel (UI).
This is a unique opportunity to design for a truly AI-first platform. You will be tasked with transforming complex insurance journeys—from purchase and policy management to claims processing—into intuitive, intelligent, and seamless digital experiences. You are a perfect fit if you thrive on simplifying complexity, can fluidly move between high-level strategy ("zooming out") and pixel-perfect detail ("zooming in"), and are excited by the challenge of designing novel interfaces for AI-driven features.
What You'll Do
● Own the End-to-End Design Process: Lead the design for our core digital experiences, from initial discovery and user research to final high-fidelity mockups and developer handoff.
● Design for AI and Data: Collaborate closely with data scientists and AI engineers to design intuitive interfaces for predictive models, personalized recommendations, and conversational AI, making advanced technology feel simple and accessible.
● Demystify Insurance: Translate complex insurance concepts, jargon, and processes into clear, simple, and trustworthy user flows, interfaces, and interactions.
● Conduct User-Centric Research: Plan and execute a variety of research methods (user interviews, data analysis, A/B tests) to gain deep insights into our customers' needs, fears, and motivations.
● Design, Prototype, and Iterate: Create tangible design artifacts, including journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs. Continuously iterate on your solutions based on user feedback and data.
● Build a World-Class UI: Craft visually stunning and highly functional user interfaces that establish and contribute to company's design system, ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience.
● Collaborate and Communicate: Work in a highly collaborative team with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Underwriting. Clearly articulate your design rationale to a variety of stakeholders.
● Measure Impact: Define success criteria and partner with the product team to analyze the impact of your designs on customer satisfaction, conversion rates, and business goals.
Must have requirements:
● Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Product Design, UX, or UI/UX role. Experience in complex domains like FinTech, InsurTech, HealthTech, or other data-heavy industries is highly preferred.
● Holistic Skillset: Demonstrated mastery in both UX (user journeys, wireframing, research, prototyping) and UI (visual design, typography, interaction design, design systems).
● Tool Proficiency: Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
● A Passion for Simplification: A genuine passion for translating complex systems into simple and elegant user experiences.
● Problem-Solving Mindset: You are a critical thinker who can dissect ambiguous problems and propose elegant, simple solutions. You're comfortable thinking on your feet.
● Collaborative Spirit: You are a team player who knows how to empower your colleagues to achieve the best outcomes and can effectively navigate cross-functional dynamics.
Nice to have:
● Direct experience designing for AI-powered products, chatbots, or conversational interfaces.
● Direct experience with different modalities of interaction with customers.
● Experience in the InsurTech or FinTech industry.
● A strong interest in data visualization and presenting complex data in an understandable way.
