Our client is recruiting for a talented C# / Azure Developer to join a small, highly skilled team building and maintaining critical data-driven systems in the financial services sector. This is a chance to work end-to-end on high-volume, time-sensitive applications that validate, analyse and store large XML datasets for regulated clients in the UK and Europe.
You'll be joining a compact technology group with a CTO, architect, senior developers and Azure administrator, collaborating daily via Teams stand-ups. It's a remote role (with an office available in Sidcup, Kent if you prefer) and offers real ownership and visibility on the systems you build.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining .NET (Framework & Core) applications in C#
- Building and deploying Azure-based solutions (PaaS)
- Designing and optimising SQL Server / Azure SQL databases, queries and stored procedures
- Working with DevOps practices (git repos, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps)
- Handling large data volumes under tight deadlines in a regulated environment
- Azure Service Bus, Functions, Batch, Storage Accounts, Web Apps, SQL Database, Key Vault, Entra ID
- Message-based or multi-tiered systems; data-heavy applications; regulated industry experience
- Web development (Blazor), legacy WebForms support, GoAnywhere MFT scripting
- Agile/Scrum working and use of Azure DevOps boards
- Salary up to £64k
- 25 days' holiday plus public holidays
- Standard Nest pension scheme
- Fully remote (with occasional in-person meetings)
