Senior WordPress & React Native Developer

Salt have partnered with a leading health technology company in Australia that are on the lookout for a Senior WordPress Developer (with ideally some React Native experience as well) to join their Sydney team!

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of this company’s website that has been built in WordPress, as well as their mobile app which has been built in React Native.

You would be their first Developer hired in-house, getting to take on ownership and the ongoing development of both their website and mobile app (primarily their website built on Wordpress).

In this tight-knit small team, you would be working closely with this company’s Digital Marketing Manager and its CEO/Founder.

This company has a very meaningful mission which is all about helping further educate healthcare professionals, and by extension helping to optimise the overall healthcare system for the Australian community. They are most certainly a leader in their space with their product offerings.

What you’ll bring?

• 8+ years experience building complex WordPress websites
• Ideally you have some experience using React Native for mobile application development
• Excellent interpersonal skills, you work well in small teams and are able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Strong focus on the user experience
• Proven ability to manage your own workload, work autonomously and as part of a team.
• You take ownership and accountability
• Ability to problem solve with team members and leaders

What you’ll be doing?

• Taking ownership of this company’s WordPress website and their React Native mobile app
• Working on the ongoing development of their WordPress website and their React Native mobile app
• Rolling out new features for their website and mobile app
• Problem solving and collaborating with this company’s CEO/Founder and Digital Marketing Manager
• Developing tools that are helping to further educate healthcare professionals and by extension optimise the experience for patients across Australia
• Adding value to the overall technology environment within this company
