About The Role

This role focuses on supporting a critical Payroll migration program. You’ll act as the link between business and technology, gathering requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of a modernised Payroll solution. Working across HR, Finance, and Technology, you’ll bring structure and clarity to a program that will have a lasting impact on the organisation. While Sydney is preferred, the team is open to strong candidates based in Melbourne.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to capture and validate requirements
  • Analyse current Payroll processes and map to future state, identifying gaps and risks
  • Support integration with SAP and related enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with Superannuation and legislative obligations
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and test scenarios
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and external vendors to ensure solutions align with requirements
  • Contribute to change management, training, and adoption of the new Payroll platform


About You

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Payroll, HRIS, or ERP migration projects
  • Knowledge of Payroll, SAP, and Superannuation processes highly advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge HR, Finance, and Tech teams
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and test support
  • Comfortable working in agile environments with multiple workstreams
  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
