Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated Recruiter / HR Coordinator to serve as a central back-office support role across our portfolio of businesses, including manufactured housing communities and essential service companies. This individual will lead end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles (maintenance staff, property managers, assistants, accountants, and more) while also managing HR operations, compliance, and process improvement. 

The ideal candidate is flexible, strategic, and personable, with strong organizational skills and the ability to balance people-focused recruiting with the detail-oriented administration of HR, legal, and compliance functions. Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is strongly desired. 


Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment & Onboarding 

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle across multiple businesses: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. 
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to ensure staffing needs are met quickly.
  • Coordinate job postings, candidate outreach, and hiring campaigns. 
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and training of new hires into company culture and systems. 

Training, SOPs & Reviews

  • Develop, document, and implement SOPs for HR and recruitment processes. 
  • Coach and train managers and staff to consistently follow SOPs and HR practices
  • Conduct employee reviews and support performance management systems. 
  • Work with leadership to design and improve training and development programs. 

HR Operations & Compliance 

  • Maintain certifications, licenses, and insurance records for all entities. 
  • Coordinate and track franchise taxes, annual legal entity filings, and compliance documentation. 
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, HR regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage employee records, HR systems, and benefits administration. 

Administration & Strategy 

  • Provide HR metrics, recruitment dashboards, and reports to leadership. 
  • Support strategic workforce planning to align staffing with company growth. 
  • Partner with leadership to foster a positive, accountable, and scalable company culture. 
  • Think creatively to improve retention, recruitment reach, and staff engagement. 


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment and HR coordination/generalist roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. HR practices, compliance, and workplace culture.
  • Experience recruiting across a wide range of roles and industries. 
  • Proven ability to create and implement SOPs and training programs. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. 
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS/ATS systems and Microsoft/Google Suite. 
  • EOS familiarity is strongly desired.
