RN Project Manager

Illingworth Research Group provides a range of patient focused clinical services to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology and medical device industries. These include mobile research nursing, patient concierge, medical photography and clinical research services. Job Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Delivery:

  • Manages projects as RNPM, leading the project team in the day-to-day delivery of Illingworth services, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements, always ensuring inspection readiness.
  • Acts as primary liaison between the Company and the Customer to ensure project launch, conduct, and closeout according to the Customer’s and the Company's contractual agreement.
  • Leads the project team to ensure quality, timeline, and budget management.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of assigned projects.
  • Leads on document creation, updates, reviews, and finalisation, and acting as an Illingworth signatory for start-up and delivery developed documents, throughout the duration of the project based on protocol amendments or scope changes.
  • Coordinates activities and deliverables of all study conduct partners (internal and external) and proactively identifies and manages issues. Liaising with global internal stakeholders and creating vendor partnerships based on the needs of the project, including couriers, translation, travel, and third-party nursing services.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and project leadership (e.g., RN Management, Talent Acquisition, Associate Director/Director) to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to their projects and provides project-specific training where required.
  • Anticipates, identifies, and documents potential risks on a project level, developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of study goals. Continually monitoring, documenting, and mitigating issues and risks throughout the life cycle of the project, leading and overseeing effective investigation, reporting and follow-up corrective actions, in collaboration with the Associate Director/Director and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assists Illingworth project leadership and Customers to ensure alignment and consistency acrossprojects/programs where multiple Illingworth team members and/or service-lines are involved.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Accountable for continual maintenance, and evaluation of study information and project progress via available tracking/analysis tools, databases, and systems, to ensure project timelines and goals are successfully met.
  • Lead effective internal/external communications between Illingworth service-lines, Customers, sites, and vendors, advocating for Illingworth as a company, to ensure a healthy uptake of services, and to assist with the generation of new and/or add on business.
  • Supports team building and effective communication within Illingworth.
  • Lead in gathering feedback and conducting lessons learned throughout the project life cycle, in collaboration with the Illingworth project team, the Customer and other relevant stakeholders, to build, maintain and share a knowledge base that informs process improvement.
  • Independently prepare, coordinate, and present project material, reports, and metrics at internal and external meetings.
  • Business Development:
  • Develops strong relationships with current clients to generate new and/or add-on business for the future.
  • Management:
  • Assist in the delivery of ad hoc training, peer mentorship, aiding into day-to-day project management queries, and signposting to relevant subject matter experts.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the identification and implementation of organizational and process improvement initiatives, to drive company performance, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.

Summary

The Research Nursing Project Manager (RNPM) provides customer focused leadership in managing and delivering the operational and financial aspects of one or more of Illingworth Research Group’s projects from project award to final deliverables with limited interaction from a supervisor. They provide Project Teams with a support and escalation link to the service-line Associate Director (AD) and/or Director, Illingworth Research Group (IRG) where required.
