Overview

To serve as the technical owner of our Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) compliance in the EU. You will be the crucial link between European regulatory requirements and our global development teams. Your mission is to translate DORA's mandates into actionable technical specifications, implement resilient system architectures, and ensure our ICT infrastructure can withstand modern threats. Your work will be critical in securing our license and building trust with regulators.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Implementation of DORA: Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements, focusing on building and integrating resilient systems.
  • ICT Risk Management: Implement and maintain a robust ICT Risk Management Framework within our technology stack and processes.
  • Systems Optimisation: Proven experience optimising systems for latency and scalability under high-load conditions.
  • Resiliency Engineering: Design, coordinate, and document advanced resilience testing, including incident response plans and threat-led penetration testing (TLPT).
  • Tech Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact in Europe for our Hong Kong/Shenzhen-based development teams. Must be able to quickly learn and work with the technologies used by our group.
  • Third-Party Tech Risk: Manage the critical technical assessment and integration resiliency of ICT third-party service providers.


Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
  • Min. 1-2 years of proven experience directly working with DLT/Blockchain-based applications in fintech, crypto, or trading environments.
  • Deep, practical experience in optimising backend systems for latency, scalability, and resiliency.
  • Strong knowledge of modern tech stacks; experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Practical knowledge of ICT risk management frameworks, especially DORA.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Business-savvy and understands the product angle; able to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
  • Professional-level English with German being an advantage.
