wBrain is currently looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in Information Security to support the delivery of a portfolio of complex IT and security-related projects for a major European institution. This role requires a high level of responsibility, stakeholder engagement, and experience managing structured project environments in regulated sectors such as defence, finance or government.


🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex IT/security projects in alignment with PMO standards (cost, timelines, quality);
  • Define long-term project goals and ensure successful outcomes aligned with business needs;
  • Participate in working groups, steering committees and programme-level meetings;
  • Track progress against the project plan and provide accurate and regular reporting;
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure project alignment, visibility, and impact;
  • Monitor budgets and control expenditures within the defined scope;
  • Identify and manage project risks, proposing mitigation actions when needed;
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, programme managers and internal teams;
  • Drive the change control process, obtaining alignment from sponsors and governance boards;
  • Provide leadership to the team, ensuring motivation, skill growth, and ownership of outcomes.


βœ… Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information System Security project management;
  • Master’s degree required (Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent);
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Fluent in English (mandatory);
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office and project management tools (e.g. MS Project);
  • Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.


πŸ’‘ Desirable Skills & Certifications:

  • Project management certifications (Prince2, PM2);
  • Certifications in Information Security: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GSEC;
  • Prior experience working with or for European institutions, or within regulated sectors (e.g. defence, government, financial services);
  • Ability to operate in a structured, multi-stakeholder environment.
