We are now seeking a Product Certification Manager. As a Product Certification Manager, you will manage global approval processes for our devices and solutions, ensuring they meet regulatory framework from supporting product development to receiving type approval certification. You will gather and maintain detailed technical documentation, partner and manage testing laboratories, and serve as the key point of contact for testing laboratories, certification partners and other relevant stakeholders, like the product development team and the Customers. Your insight into radio equipment frameworks and project management skills will keep product launches and roadmaps on track and compliant worldwide.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree e.g. in Engineering, Telecommunications, Technology, or Business Management. Equivalent field experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience managing real-life certification processes, ideally within the IoT, radio equipment or consumer electronics industry.
  • Understanding of main global radio regulations and frameworks, e.g. CE, FCC and ISED.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and organized mindset, to ensure all certification documentation and testing procedures are accurate and compliant
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, to effectively interact with both internal teams and external parties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools

Plus

  • Experience in leading/managing real-world radio equipment certification projects is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with e.g. IoT technologies, radio frequency (RF) systems, embedded systems, wireless communication protocols (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with global type approvals for different regions is considered an advantage.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate end-to-end product certification activities for radio equipment to their target markets
  • Determine, manage and report project certification scope and specifications such as cost, schedule and test sample requirements
  • Prepare, coordinate and review technical documentation packages in line with the needed regulatory frameworks (CE, FCC, ISED, etc.) in close collaboration with the product development teams
  • Collaborate with product development, supply chain, business owners and project managers to align design outputs with regulatory requirements
  • Liaise and maintain effective relationships with certification partners, test laboratories and other certification related external entities
  • Emphasize continuous improvement by developing e.g. workflows, templates, and checklists to streamline future certification projects
