Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Appium Test Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team and work closely with colleagues across multiple regions. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks for mobile applications (iOS and Android), while collaborating with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.

Primary Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
• Build and enhance test frameworks for scalability, reliability, and reusability.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Monitor and analyze application and system logs (e.g., Kibana, Grafana) to troubleshoot and validate issues.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure test coverage and requirement clarity.
• Document and report defects with clear steps, logs, and supporting evidence.
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) with automated test execution.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appium for test automation (mobile).
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and product lifecycle.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python for automation scripting.
• Experience designing and executing test cases, with focus on automation reusability.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Intermediate or higher English level (comfortable in meetings and documentation).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with additional automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Familiarity with mobile device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab).
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI).
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to networks, TCP/UDP protocols, and Chrome DevTools.
• CI/CD integration experience with automated test pipelines.
