Lead iOS Engineer (Swift/SwiftUI)

We're looking for a Lead iOS Engineer with a strong command of Swift and SwiftUI to join our team on a remote contract or on-site basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer who excels at both technical execution and team leadership.

About the Role:

As our Lead iOS Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving the development of our application, architecting and building a scalabale maintainable codebase that will serve millions of users. You'll leverage your deep expertise in SwiftUI to build and optimize features, ensuring a seamless and high-performance user experience. Beyond coding, you'll be a key leader, responsible for setting clear KPIs, providing accurate time estimates, and fostering a culture of ownership within the team. Your ability to guide and mentor will be crucial in delivering top-tier results. We are only considering senior engineers with 5+ years of experience building and shipping large-scale iOS applications.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Feature Development & Optimization: Build and enhance features using Swift and SwiftUI, with a keen eye for functional code and thoughtful UI design.
• Performance & Stability: Utilize Xcode's debugging and performance tuning tools to resolve crashes, bugs, and optimize overall application performance.
• Team Leadership & KPI Management: Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, set clear KPIs, and manage weekly deadlines, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality code.
• Backend Integration: Collaborate on app architecture and integrate with backend services, with a focus on AWS.
• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of deliverables, ensuring accurate time estimates and proactive communication of progress.
• Continuous Learning: Be ready to quickly learn and adapt to new frameworks and technologies as project needs evolve.

What We're Looking For:

• Required Qualifications:
• Significant experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing developer workflows.
• Proficiency with Xcode debugging and performance tuning tools.
• Familiarity with AWS services and mobile integration.
• Demonstrated ability to set and manage clear KPIs and deliver on accurate time estimates.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

• Experience shipping end-to-end production iOS applications.
