Role Overview:

We are looking for CloudOps Engineers to join one of our Nearshore teams working with international clients on mission-critical environments. This role can be performed remotely or from our Lisbon or Porto offices, depending on your preference.

In this role, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and reliability of our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our cloud-based services.


What you will do:

  • Manage and maintain Azure cloud environments, including resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization;
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates;
  • Monitor system performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other observability tools;
  • Ensure security and compliance across cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), policies, and governance;
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services;
  • Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for cloud operations and cost management.


What you are like:

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, preferably focused on Microsoft Azure;
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure AD, VNets, NSGs, and Storage Accounts;
  • Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting languages for automation;
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights);
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and governance in cloud environments;
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps);
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
