Network Engineer - Remote from Portugal

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a remote position from Portugal:

What we are looking for:

• Several years of experience designing and managing complex IP networks (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Automation)
• Deep expertise in Cisco ACI
• Proven experience with Ansible for network automation
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalling, with a focus on Cisco technologies
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant Cisco credentials
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English

What will be a plus:

• Hands-on experience with stateful firewalls like Juniper, Checkpoint, or Fortinet
• Previous work in the telecommunications industry
• Certifications such as JNCIA or F5
• Knowledge of 5G architecture and IPv6.
