We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master & DevOps Practitioner to join our Agile team in the Global Products & Solutions (GPS) domain. In this dual-role capacity, you will be responsible for facilitating and coaching cross-functional teams in adopting and implementing SAFe principles, while also driving robust DevOps practices to enable continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable release pipelines.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Facilitate Agile & SAFe Execution: Coach Scrum teams in the GPS domain to effectively adopt SAFe principles and Agile practices, including Sprint and PI planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Enable High-Performing Teams: Empower teams to self-organise, prioritise work, and continuously improve through Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), process optimisation, automation, and waste reduction
- Remove Impediments & Drive Delivery: Proactively identify and resolve blockers impacting team velocity, escalating critical issues to leadership when needed
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with Product Owners, development teams, Test Management, and wider stakeholders to align on ART initiatives, track progress, and ensure transparency
- Scale Agility Across Organisations: Collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters, POs, and leaders to promote agile maturity, consistency, and a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Drive our automation effort by proposing and developing scripts
- Manage configuration, packaging and deployments of application components based on software and documentation delivered by developers
- Drive the onboarding of our application to common platforms (e.g. Observability Testing Framework, CI/CD platform)
- Be a driver for standardization and automation within the GPS domain and foster the engineering culture within your team
- As part of a highly collaborative team, contribute to the future Software Solutions strategy
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and systems used in the GPS ART
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experiences of successfully delivering Software projects
- Linux administration background: software packages, text processing, filesystem management, maintaining environments, logfile investigations
- Scripting skills: Unix/Linux commands, bash, Python
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, Octopus, Maven, or similar
- Cloud experience: Kubernetes, Azure Application Platform (e.g. AKS), distributed architectures
- Broad understanding of the Markets flow, with a good understanding of products provided by the GPS ART, including knowledge of market data, trading platforms, and risk management systems
- Familiarity with using Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, Websocket)
- Experience with configuration of middleware such as Kafka and Websphere MQ
- User-level knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch, OpenTelemetry)
- Development background (ideally Java)
