Who We Are

Impactum Insights is a proudly independent Romanian company with over a decade of experience in developing software solutions that capture public opinion and deliver insights. Our platforms combine cutting-edge technology with deep research expertise to simplify and streamline the way organizations understand their audiences.

We’ve led large-scale projects across more than 20 countries on five continents. Today, our focus is on building AI-powered tools for both quantitative and qualitative research—empowering teams to extract deeper insights, faster and with less friction. Whether refining existing products or launching new ones, we’re committed to making research accessible, scalable, and impactful.

Excited to grow? We’re looking for a passionate UX Designer (with HTML) to become part of our Bucharest-based team.

Your Mission

As a UX Designer (with HTML), you’ll take the lead in shaping the user experience across our products. You’ll work closely with product managers and developers to turn ideas and research into clear, intuitive designs that people actually enjoy using. Your role is to connect business needs, technical realities, and user insights—bringing them together into smooth journeys, clean flows, and functional prototypes.

This is a full-time, office-first role, giving you the chance to collaborate directly with the team, contribute to discussions in real time, and stay closely connected to the evolution of our products. You’ll be part of an agile environment where design decisions are made openly, and your input will influence not just the look and feel of our platforms, but also the way they evolve iteration by iteration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Turn concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that make complex things feel simple
  • Research, sketch, test, and refine digital product experiences in line with client needs and product goals
  • Design responsive, mobile-first user journeys optimized for multiple devices and interfaces
  • Convert design assets into well-structured HTML and CSS and/or creating mockups using component libraries
  • Spot design challenges early and propose elegant, user-centered solutions
  • Drive key UX and UI decisions for new and existing features
  • Rapidly test and iterate based on feedback and usability findings
  • Support internal projects with design work (e.g. banners, presentations, logos)

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who’s not only skilled but also curious, collaborative, and genuinely fun to work with.

  • 5+ years of UX design experience
  • Strong command of Figma, XD or similar prototyping tools
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe CS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design best practices
  • Ability to explain your design choices clearly and engage with feedback
  • A track record of solving real user problems with thoughtful design
  • Strong communication skills in Romanian and English
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

What We Offer

  • A relaxed, inspiring workspace in one of Bucharest’s most elegant neighborhoods—surrounded by historic architecture and prestigious institutions
  • A young, forward-thinking team that values collaboration, good humor, and smart ideas
  • An informal environment where creativity thrives and hierarchies don’t get in the way of innovation
  • Access to new technologies and modern tools that support your professional growth
  • An energizing culture where coffee chats and spontaneous brainstorming are part of the daily rhythm

This is a place where you can truly grow, feel at ease, and do meaningful work—with people who actually enjoy Mondays.

What’s in It for You

  • A minimum of 23 paid vacation days
  • 1 extra paid leave day for each full year in the team
  • 24th and 31st December paid days off
  • Office-first hybrid work model (4 days a week at the office and one day per week from home - you can choose between Wednesday or Friday to work from home)
  • Medical subscription for each team member +1 extra family member
  • Gym membership
  • Full availability to support professional development (e.g. courses, programs, other resources)
