Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Automation Engineer to join our Network Security Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks, deployment processes, and zero-touch operations, with a strong foundation in both network/infrastructure security and DevOps practices.

This role provides the opportunity to work with leading security technologies such as Palo Alto, and to play a key part in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and resilience of our security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement automation frameworks and infrastructure for network security operations.
• Transition manual network security processes into automated workflows, focusing on zero-touch operations.
• Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment and operational tasks.
• Leverage tools such as Ansible and Terraform for configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, and automation.
• Enhance and optimize deployment processes for Palo Alto Networks firewalls and other network security solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in automation tools and frameworks – Ansible, Terraform.
• Advanced experience with Python scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
• Good knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with network or infrastructure security concepts, including firewalls, VPN, routing, and secure connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and related network security technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their security models.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
• Exposure to SIEM/SOAR platforms for automated incident response.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
