Senior Project Manager

Verisure, operating under two brand names (Verisure & Securitas Direct), is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Project Manager to join our Portfolio and Programme Office in Malmö or in Madrid that can help us achieve our goals. 
 

Portfolio and Programme Office 

Verisure’s Portfolio and Programme Office manages the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Technology organisation. The team is responsible for project management activities across a wide range of technology products, from early-stage conception through to rollout in our markets. Additionally, we manage the project portfolio, including prioritisation, planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication.  

We are a cross-site, agile team with engineers based in our two R&D centres: Malmö (Sweden) and Madrid (Spain). We are dynamic, multicultural, fast-paced, and open to change and new ways of working. 

The role and its impact on Verisure Technology 

As our new Project Manager at Verisure, you will lead projects focused on delivering global products to our markets, guiding them through the ideation, analysis, development, manufacturing, and go-to-market stages. You will collaborate closely with R&D, IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, QA, as well as external partners and vendors. 

You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end delivery of projects across cross-functional teams in all markets where we operate. In addition, you will manage project reporting, provide a helicopter view of progress while continuously tracking key risks and mitigation plans. 

We are looking for 

A self-driven project manager with a strong technical background, a truly global and multi-cultural mindset, and lots of can-do-attitude, ready to get through the ups and downs in a project - working proactively with risk management and obstacle removal as a state of mind - to ensure we deliver according to plan and budget. 

To us, it is important that you bring high energy, flexibility and strong communication skills. You are persuasive and able to build consensus and drive an outcome while productively co-work with stakeholders. Collaborative working is key! 

 
Responsibilities 

• Create and drive end-to-end time plan for execution of defined proposition, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. 

• Coordinate the development and integration activities for delivery of products to all our markets 

• Track the key dependencies related to the project and ensure the needs are clear to the respective teams. Drive trade-off decisions and be agile actively re-planning 

• Raise development blockers or needs for cross-geography coordination to relevant stakeholders to be solved 

• Follow up the project with weekly cross functional meetings and report the progress accordingly 

• Support the development of the Product Development Process to actively drive "better practices" to how we deliver projects in the company. 

Requirements 

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Technical Product Manager, in a tech company, managing SW and/or HW projects 

• Experience working with a mix of internal and external teams, located inhouse and across Europe 

• Atlassian tools knowledge (JIRA, Confluence) 

• English: fluent (C1-C2)
