Role: Senior Data Analyst – Power BI, Databricks & DAX

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Note: Only candidates currently based in Sweden will be considered for this role.

Your Role:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be at the core of designing and delivering impactful BI solutions. From developing optimized Power BI reports to leveraging Databricks for data transformation, you'll play a crucial role in shaping data strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🔧 Build and maintain robust Power BI data models using best practices in DAX, performance tuning, and row-level security.
• 📊 Create intuitive, interactive dashboards that provide meaningful, real-time insights for business users.
• 🔗 Integrate data from diverse sources such as Azure, GCP, and on-prem systems using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• 🚀 Optimize large data sets through techniques like incremental refresh and data partitioning.
• 🤝 Collaborate in cross-functional, agile teams to deliver high-quality, iterative BI solutions aligned with business goals.
• 🧠 Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making at all levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ 8+ years of IT experience as a BI report developer

✅Advanced experience with Power BI – especially in data modeling, DAX, and report optimization

✅ Hands-on expertise with Databricks for data engineering and transformation workflows

✅ Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and preprocessing

✅ Experience implementing row-level security and performance tuning for large datasets

✅ Solid grasp of integrating cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP

✅ Strong data storytelling abilities and stakeholder communication skills

✅ Agile mindset with the flexibility to adapt in fast-paced environments

✅ Interest or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and emerging BI technologies is a plus
