Power BI Lead
Work Location - Stockholm, Sweden ( weekly 3days Onsite mandate and 2 days remote)
Job Type - B2B / Freelancing Contract
This person will oversee the Real Estate Analytics Power BI app and other analytical assets, taking ownership of best practices for process setup, access management, report development, and governance. They will guide analytical efforts and collaborate with team members to ensure data-driven insights support key business initiatives.
- Responsibilities:
- Holistic Power BI Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in Power BI report development, defining best practices for data ingestion, semantic model design, documentation, and DAX optimization.
- Process Development: Establish and maintain processes for governance, maintenance, and access management of analytical artifacts, including the RE Analytics App.
- Business Requirement Implementation: Serve as a 'Feature Responsible' for new initiatives within the RE Analytics workstream, translating business requirements into actionable features.
- Advanced Analytics Advisory: Provide feasibility on applied advanced analytics, assessing methodological approaches and best fit for relevant business problems.
- Team Coordination: Lead and support the efforts of Power BI developers and other analytics resources, enhancing collaboration, optimizing ways of working, and fostering skill development.
- Strategic Support: Assist the Global Analytics Manager with task definitions for varied scenarios, such as report development, exploratory analytics, causal inference modeling, etc.
Key Skills:
Technical Expertise in Power BI: Strong knowledge of Power BI, including experience with advanced DAX/M, data modeling, and report optimization.
Communication and Design Skills: Strong ability to communicate output of analytical applications, including an understanding for appealing design principles and UX best practices to create user-friendly analytical artefacts.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret results, and apply critical thinking to assess challenges and propose solutions.
Advanced Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with, and experience from implementing various statistical methods to guide applied analytics and infer relevant take-aways.
Project and Process Management: Ability to structure and drive governance, access management, and establish standardized practices relating to analytical artefacts.
Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to coordinate team efforts, provide guidance, and drive continuous improvement across Analytics projects.
