Job Description – Systems Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Systems Engineers to support enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The consultants will focus on the design, implementation, and optimization of server, virtualization, and storage platforms, ensuring a robust foundation for IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.

• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent).

• Implement and manage storage, backup, and recovery solutions.

• Support OS hardening, patching, and compliance alignment.

• Lead migration and upgrade of legacy systems.

• Ensure system performance, availability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with network and application teams for integrated solutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and diagrams. (HLD, LLD, UAT)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of: o Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) o Windows Server and/or Linux administration o Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies o Storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.) o Backup & DR technologies (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)

• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VCP, VCAP, RHCE, preferred.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Team-oriented mindset with ability to deliver under project timelines.
