Role: AI Network Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway

Must-Have:

1. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, and other relevant networking protocols and technologies
2. Experience in managing the operation of large-scale IP networking technologies and infrastructures, including monitoring network health, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance
3. Experience in maintaining NW security including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools.
4. Very good experience in supporting, configuring and maintaining DC networks
5. Experience of Layer 3 and Layer 2 protocols (BGP, OSPF, Spanning tree).
6. Hands on experience routing, switching and trouble shooting
7. Hands on experience on automation of network infrastructure, including provisioning, management, and monitoring, using scripting languages like Python
8. Working knowledge in, UFM (Unified Fabric Manager) \InfiniBand Routing Engine.
9. Knowledge in ROCE Networking
10. Basic knowledge in RDMA programming
11. Knowledge in Implementing Multitenancy on InfiniBand \ROCE network
12. Hands on Knowledge in Monitoring and troubleshooting Spectrum-X fabric using NVIDIA NetQ
13. Knowledge in Configuring Nvidia Bluefield DPU

Good to-Have:

1. Experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand networking technologies
2. Hands on experience or Certification on NVIDIA Spectrum-X NW Platform administration
3. Understanding of AI and high-performance computing network architectures
4. Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and their implementation in network environments
5. Prior experience on NetDevOps and automation execution through CI/CD pipelines
6. NVIDIA Certified Professional – InfiniBand

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

1. Good Client management and communication ability
2. Lead the network operational team and drive the SLA/OLA concerned
3. Ensure that network devices are maintained and configured as per the security and operational needs
4. Staying up to date with the latest networking technologies and trends, primarily on NVIDIA Network evolutions and high-performance computing architectures
5. Day to day operation of the AI Data Center Network management, Incident and service request handling, Change request execution
