Role Overview:


We are seeking a relentlessly driven, results-focused Business Development Representative to spearhead client acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion for our Lunar Rails cross boarder payments solution and further exposure to Lunar Rails’ on-chain trading and liquidity solutions. You will be fully accountable for building and scaling a pipeline of high-value clients in import/export sectors, ensuring product-market fit, and generating measurable revenue growth. Occasional resource support would be needed to progress the pipeline of exchanges, funds, and institutional clients driving adoption of our licensed financial infrastructure company based in El Salvador.


This role demands creative outreach, strategic thinking, and unwavering execution. If you are not prepared to hustle, this role is not for you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Market Intelligence – Identify and deeply understand market needs across fintech and more traditional sectors in the UAE. Stay up to date with the needs of OTC desks, exchanges, custodians, and wallets globally.
  • Outreach Strategy & Execution – Develop and execute innovative outreach methods to reach decision-makers, penetrate target accounts, and secure partnerships.
  • Pipeline Development – Build, maintain, and convert a strong pipeline of import/export businesses. Support with pipeline management of institutional clients across the OTC and other verticals.
  • Solution Mastery – Attain expert knowledge of our product capabilities, compliance frameworks, and operational processes to confidently position solutions to clients.
  • End-to-End BD Ownership – Drive the entire cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, closing deals, onboarding, and establishing repeat business.
  • Product Market Fit & Scaling – Secure early clients, refine offerings based on feedback, and establish scalable inbound client acquisition channels.
  • Revenue Accountability – Deliver on aggressive revenue targets and KPIs, reporting results with transparency.
  • Relationship Building – Establish trust and long-term partnerships with industry stakeholders and influencers.


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years in business development within payments or fintech sectors. Experience with OTC desks, exchanges, wallets, or custodians is a plus.
  • Blockchain & Digital Asset Expertise: Deep strategic understanding of blockchain-based payments and cross-border settlement systems. Demonstrated expertise in digital assets, institutional-grade on-chain infrastructure, trading mechanics, liquidity provisioning, and their application in large-scale B2B or institutional contexts.
  • Strategic Industry Network: Established, high-level relationships with key decision-makers across the UAE import and cross-border payment sectors. Strong network within blockchain-focused OTC desks, exchanges, custodians, wallets, and institutional players.
  • Proven Executive Track Record: Demonstrated success in originating and closing high-value B2B and institutional deals in the blockchain space, building scalable pipelines, and consistently exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Self-Starter: Operates independently with high accountability, thriving in fast-paced and high-stakes environments.
  • Creative Hustler: Finds unconventional paths to reach decision-makers and secure business.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving Skills: Recognized for architecting and implementing high-impact solutions to address complex institutional challenges, streamline cross-border operations, and drive sustainable growth.
