Key responsibilities:

As a Network Engineer, your main responsibilities include supporting, maintaining, and evaluating computer networking and telecommunication systems. This role includes installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual servers. Additionally, the Network Engineer maintains company and offshore networks and performs other related duties as assigned. Detailed responsibilities as follows:

• Oversee daily network operations, including hardware/software support, training, and special projects.
• Plan, design, and implement data connectivity for LAN/WAN systems.
• Coordinate special projects like network wiring plans, hardware/software purchases, and system installation/maintenance.
• Provide network and remote connectivity support.
• Ensure communication among networks, servers, and clients.
• Monitor and optimize network performance; evaluate application connectivity.
• Maintain network security, ensuring timely firmware/OS patching.
• Manage network-related changes and facilitate change management processes.
• Support communication link security and monitor external network security (firewall logs, NIDS, etc.).
• Handle network-related incident resolution.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related area
• At least 7-10 years of hands-on working experience with network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Certificate in Cisco CCNA or Network+ and Fortinet NSE 4 is a must.
• Arabic speaker is preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
