We’re seeking an experienced freelance, part-time WordPress developer to help us maintain and upgrade our existing website. This role is focused on enhancements, performance improvements, and functionality updates—not a full redesign at this time.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update our WordPress site, ensuring security, stability, and responsiveness.
  • Implement new features and functionality as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Optimize site performance and load speed, including identifying and fixing bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and resolve 4xx errors and other SEO-related technical issues.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements within existing design and structure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong front-end and back-end skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL).
  • Proven experience improving site load speed and troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Familiarity with site optimization, security best practices, and SEO fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on a part-time, freelance basis.
