Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead software development initiatives supporting semiconductor manufacturing and office operations. You’ll work closely with QA, engineering, IT, and global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical mindset, strong leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project timelines.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for MES, ERP, and office systems.
• Maintain and enhance manufacturing software to support production efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate software with PLC systems, IoT devices, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure software quality.
• Align software development with business goals and compliance standards.

Other Responsibilities

• Provide training and support to end users on software tools.
• Participate in global collaboration projects with teams in Japan and other countries.

Skills and Competencies Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in VB.Net, C++, C#, PHP, Java, Python, ASP.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, Azure, and API development.
• Familiarity with MES and ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Travel Requirement

• Occasional regional travel (1-2 times per year for training or cross-site collaboration)
