Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Our client is a leading global investment management firm with a strong presence across major financial hubs.

This role will allow you to build and support high-performance, scalable systems that underpin the firm’s financial data platform. You’ll work hands-on with modern technologies (Java, Kafka, Spark, AWS, etc.), while also contributing to architectural decisions, system optimization, and mentoring team members. It’s a mix of technical depth and leadership, where you’ll directly impact mission-critical platforms.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and microservices.
• Proven track record designing and delivering distributed, scalable systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, and developer mentorship.
• Strong exposure to big data (Spark, Kafka, Scala) and cloud (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and system support skills.
• Financial services / trading environment experience is a plus.
