Application Development Manager (Microsoft Tech)

My client is searching for a Microsoft technology focused Application Development Manager. Key experience in deploying applications focused on .Net and Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Manages web-based and mobile business applications under the section’s charge and accounts for system integrity, availability, performance and user functional expectations
• Manages the team and accounts for their expected deliverables. Reviews all Functional Specifications for new applications and project for Head of Section or Head of Department’s approval
• Liaise with business users on the enhancements and change requests. Review the enhancement / changes to application, formulating and defining scope
• Ensures compliance to appropriate policies, procedures, security standards, and audit requirements
• Operates an effective application development area including processes such as work request management, resource management, prioritization, project planning, release and configuration management, requirement analysis, system design, code review, implementation, and documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience with at least 4 years’ experience in leading a team of application development
• Highly driven and independent
• Excellent written and communication skills
• At least 5 years hands-on coding experience in predominantly Microsoft environment i.e. C#.NET or VB.NET, UML, OOAD, XML, SQL, web services, etc
• Knowledgeable in Web, Mobile and Rest API application development
• Experience in Azure Cloud native services, Docker and AKS deployment and configuration
