Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise platforms that support the development, testing, and maintenance of applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing platform infrastructure, ensuring security and governance frameworks are embedded into operations, and enabling seamless integration between services and external systems. This role requires collaboration across teams to ensure production stability, efficiency, and compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and optimize enterprise platforms that support application development, testing, deployment, and maintenance workflows.
• Manage platform infrastructure, coordinate application deployment, ensure reliable production support, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for DevOps processes.
• Implement and enforce enterprise governance frameworks to ensure effective design, development, and sustainability of platform environments.
• Oversee the setup and configuration of Common Services instances in collaboration with Government Commercial Cloud Infrastructure (GCCI) operators, ensuring compliance with project requirements and security standards.
• Design and develop integrations between Common Services and external systems or third-party services, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient data exchange.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automation to streamline DevOps pipelines while ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security practices and compliance into deployment processes.
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams in adopting DevSecOps tools, technologies, and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in platform infrastructure management, application deployment coordination, and production support.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with Government Cloud environments is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing security frameworks, governance models, and compliance practices within DevOps pipelines.
• Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, monitoring systems, and secure deployment best practices.
• Experience integrating enterprise services with external systems using APIs, connectors, and middleware solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong documentation and training skills to guide teams on processes, configurations, and best practices.
