Foresight Ventures is seeking two Investment Associates to join our global investment team. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing early-stage opportunities across stablecoins, payments, Layer1/Layer2 ecosystems, DeFi protocols, and cross-chain infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine strong research and analytical skills with a passion for blockchain innovation, playing a key role in shaping our investment strategy at the frontier of digital finance.

Job Opening 1: Investment Associate (Layer1, Layer2 & DeFi Ecosystem)

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, due diligence, and execution of early-stage investments in stablecoins, Layer1/Layer2 ecosystems, cross-chain bridges, and related infrastructure.
• Independently produce in-depth industry research reports and investment due diligence memos.
• Identify and evaluate innovative opportunities across blockchain infrastructure and financial protocols.
• Build and maintain strong networks across blockchain ecosystems to support deal flow and portfolio development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or strategic research, OR relevant experience at public blockchain foundations, DeFi protocols, or cross-chain bridge projects.
• Solid understanding of major payment-focused Layer1s/Layer2s and DeFi core mechanisms (e.g., AMMs, lending, staking, liquidity management).
• Prior experience with leading blockchain payment systems, DeFi liquidity solutions, or fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, research, and investment execution skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality insights.
• Highly self-driven, intellectually curious about blockchain and DeFi innovation, with strong learning agility and structured decision-making skills.

Job Opening 2: Investment Associate (Stablecoin & Payments)Responsibilities

• Conduct research, sourcing, due diligence, and investment management in stablecoin and PayFi (payment + DeFi) sectors.
• Deliver high-quality industry reports and investment committee materials.
• Evaluate opportunities across stablecoin issuance, payment networks, fiat gateways, and on-chain settlement infrastructure.
• Support portfolio development in cross-border payments and regulatory-compliant financial services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in stablecoin/payments VC/PE investing, strategy, or fintech/payments industry.
• Background in fintech companies, card networks, banks, stablecoin issuers, or fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure strongly preferred.
• Deep familiarity with stablecoin operating models and knowledge of cross-border payments, compliance frameworks, fiat rails, and blockchain settlement.
• Solid financial foundation with ability to build valuation models and project company growth trajectories.
• Highly motivated and self-driven, with strong analytical, learning, and independent judgment skills; passion for financial innovation.
