We are looking for a Product Designer with a passion for creating great products for great people (in our case, the modern family). In this role you will work closely with our Design team leads helping support multiple concurrent initiatives. You will also be working alongside partners from Design, Product Management, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and other core teams across the company. You will be responsible for fleshing out use cases, edge cases, and documentation helping fill in gaps or questions needed from our development teams.
About the Design Team:
We are a collaborative, full-stack Design org with disciplines that span Product Design, Brand Design, Motion Design, Print Design, and Design Program Management. We are led by our VP of Design, Creative Director, and Product Design Director and work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners. Our team is critical in helping ensure that Greenlight delivers truly lovable experiences with product and brand expressions that are aligned.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with other product designers to ensure alignment across other areas of the product and our design system
- Work with our design leads to support multiple concurrent initiatives
- Help maintain and scale our design system across multiple touchpoints including app, website, tablet, and watch
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, addressing any design-related issues or adjustments as needed
- Flesh out use cases, edge cases, and documentation to help fill in gaps and answer questions from our development teams
- Create key UI views, flows, and components, needed for finalizing designs
- Stay updated with industry trends, technology and best practices to continuously improve design processes and tools
- 3-5 years + proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role
- Practical hands-on skills including high-fidelity product and motion design, and prototyping, (typography, photography, video, illustration, etc.)
- Mastery and speed in Figma, with ability to produce prototypes to support engineers
- Knowledge of and efficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Eye for detail, consistency, and a passion for creating high-quality, user-centered designs
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard iOS and Android mobile design patterns
- A portfolio showcasing your skills and attention to detail, preferably for a mobile application

Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $100,000-150,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $10,000-120,000
