Assistant Product Manager – Private Brands
Private Brands is one of the most exciting growth engines within Matrix, and a key part of how we deliver on our mission to create standout, consumer-loved products across beauty, wellness, and lifestyle.
The Role:
As an Assistant Product Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the product development process from concept through to launch. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll help bring new products to market, manage timelines, and ensure we deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timelines and product development deliverables across multiple projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep developments on track under the guidance of the Product Manager
- Collaborate with sales, design, supply chain, and our sourcing team based in China
- Assist in preparing product briefs, competitor analysis, and trend research
- Maintain accurate product data and costings
- Support the preparation of presentations, range reviews, and participate in customer meetings
About You:
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about beauty and product development. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and an interest in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer goods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management tools is a plus
- Previous internship or work experience in product management, buying, or FMCG is desirable but not essential
