Control Software Engineer - North-East Switzerland (On-site)
About the Role
Join an advanced Swiss engineering team developing model-based flight control and embedded software for autonomous aviation systems. You’ll work where simulation meets embedded firmware, running SIL/HIL tests and enabling safe autonomous functionality.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test model-based control software (e.g., Simulink/Matlab).
- Integrate models into embedded targets (C/C++ firmware, RTOS desirable).
- Develop and run SIL/HIL test campaigns; document results clearly.
- Create technical documentation and training materials.
- Troubleshoot sensors and embedded I/O during bring-up and integration.
- Stay updated on regulations and sensor technology for continuous improvement.
Profile
- BSc (MSc preferred) in Aerospace, Computer Science, Controls, or related.
- 3+ years in model-based software development.
- Hands-on with simulation (SIL/HIL) and embedded integration.
- Good knowledge of flight dynamics & control theory.
- Fluent English (German an advantage).
- Swiss/EU work rights required.
