Position Description: Kotlin Cross-Platform Web3 (non-EVM) Developer

Role Overview

The Kotlin Cross-Platform Web3 Developer will design, develop, and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) using Kotlin for cross-platform solutions, integrating blockchain technologies. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient applications that interact with Web3 ecosystems. We are specifically building a UTXO based non-EVM based Web3 solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose, targeting web, mobile, and desktop environments.
• Integrate Web3 technologies, including blockchain protocols and smart contracts, into applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers to connect dApps with decentralized networks and APIs.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security in Web3 contexts.
• Stay updated on Web3 trends, Kotlin advancements, and blockchain development tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Kotlin Multiplatform for cross-platform development.
• Understanding of Web3 concepts, including blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized protocols.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets for blockchain integration.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and cryptography basics for Web3 applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose or other modern UI frameworks for cross-platform apps.
• Familiarity with blockchain ecosystems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms for hosting dApps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in Kotlin development, with at least 1 year in Web3 or blockchain projects.
