Monash University is exploring recruitment in the dynamic and critical field of Health and Climate and invites expressions of interest for two key positions within the Monash Health and Climate Initiative. We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals to contribute to research in the relevant themes of Extreme Heat and Weather Events, Air Quality and Respiratory Issues, Food and Water Security, Vector Borne Disease and Infectious Disease, One Health approach, Health Co-benefits of Mitigation and Adaptation, and/or Health System Resilience.

These are exploratory opportunities for highly motivated individuals who want to make a significant impact on global health challenges. Successful candidates will be based in Melbourne, Australia, and will benefit from an attractive remuneration and relocation package.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, drive innovative research programs, influence policy and contribute to the growth and impact of the Monash Health and Climate Initiative.

• Senior Research Fellow, Monash Health and Climate Initiative
  
  

We are looking for an accomplished researcher with a strong publication record and demonstrated expertise in one or more of the identified climate change and health themes. The Senior Research Fellow will play a crucial role in conducting high-quality research, securing funding, growing AI and machine learning internal capability and collaborating with multidisciplinary / transdisciplinary teams.
