We’re seeking a Graduate Security Operations Engineer with a genuine interest in cyber security and a desire to grow their skills under the guidance of experienced Site Reliability Engineers.
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in security operations while supporting IT Ops to respond to and resolve queries across applications, ensuring our security protocols are consistently followed. As you grow, we’ll support you in achieving relevant security certifications to build a strong foundation for your career.
Any exposure to AWS, ISO standards, or Cyber Essentials is a plus, but not essential.

What you'll do
- Monitor and respond to security alerts under the guidance of senior engineers
- Support IT Ops in resolving queries across applications and systems
- Help ensure security protocols and compliance requirements are followed
- Assist in incident response, vulnerability management, and security reviews
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers to learn and apply security best practices
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
- A genuine passion for cyber security and continuous learning
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to ask questions
- Familiarity (through study or personal projects) with cloud platforms, networking, or security tools
- Any exposure to AWS, ISO standards, or Cyber Essentials is an advantage, but not required
- Mentorship and on-the-job training from experienced SREs and security engineers
- Support in gaining relevant industry certifications as you grow
- A collaborative environment where curiosity and initiative are encouraged
