A Brisbane-based organisation is seeking a Network Engineer to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions. This full-time position involves managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting escalations, and contributing to project delivery, with the opportunity to work across a variety of technologies and environments.

• $90K – $100K base + superannuation

• Brisbane-based, full-time role

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

• Support and optimise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments

• Assist in cloud networking and security projects (Azure/AWS)

• Troubleshoot escalated network issues and provide timely resolution

• Contribute to network upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring firewalls, routing and switching, managing VPNs, and ensuring network uptime. You will also work on network optimisation, contribute to security improvements, and support cloud integration projects. The role requires clear documentation and proactive communication with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…..

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall configuration

• Experience with LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN technologies

• Understanding of network security concepts and best practices

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/Azure or AWS networking components

• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills

• Full working rights in Australia

IT’S NICE TO HAVE…..

• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent vendor certifications

• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco firewalls

• Exposure to cloud networking design and hybrid infrastructure environments

• Knowledge of monitoring tools and network reporting platforms

• Experience with VoIP or unified communications solutions
