Senior JavaScript Developer for Feature Flagging (m/f/x)

Our team is driving the adoption of OpenFeature within Dynatrace and beyond. We aim to deliver an easy-to-use toolset for developers, and we're looking for your JavaScript and frontend expertise to help us succeed.

In this role, you'll focus on enhancing OpenFeature and its ecosystem, leveraging your JavaScript and React skills to build robust libraries, tools, and user interfaces. You'll also engage with the broader OpenFeature community, contributing to its growth and representing Dynatrace.

• Develop and maintain JavaScript libraries, tools, and frontend components around OpenFeature for both internal and community use.
• Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using React to improve the developer experience. - Collaborate with Dynatrace teams to integrate OpenFeature into their workflows, improving both backend and frontend development processes.
• Advocate for feature flagging best practices within Dynatrace and the broader developer community. - Explore opportunities to integrate observability with feature flags, enhancing insights for developers, QA, and operations teams.
• Actively contribute to OpenFeature's open-source community by participating in discussions, reviews, and events.
  
  

What Will Help You Succeed

• Strong JavaScript expertise, with experience in building and maintaining libraries or frameworks.
• Solid experience with React and/or modern frontend development practices.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling.
• Basic understanding of feature flags and their role in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Open-source contributions or community involvement is highly valued.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a distributed team.

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
