The opportunity

You'll join our Europe West Office of the CTO, an organization that connects service line teams focused on AI, Data, Technology, and Innovation, providing a common governance framework and driving the adoption of global technology platforms. As Chief Data Officer for the Europe West Super region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping EY’s data strategy, governance, and innovation, ensuring alignment and impact across multiple countries and service lines.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and execution of the regional data strategy, ensuring alignment with global and local priorities.
• Cross-Functional Enablement: Champion cross-country and cross-Service Line collaboration, operationalizing best practices and supporting locally led data initiatives across Europe West.
• Data-Driven Transformation: Foster a culture of data-driven innovation to enable business transformation and accelerate AI adoption.
• Insight Generation: Coordinate analytics efforts to deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions and enhance service delivery.
• Thought Leadership & Talent Development: Represent EY as a thought leader in data management, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and lead the development of high-performing data teams.
  
  

Skills And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, and 10+ years in senior data leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in data governance and data product creation in complex, international environments.
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also demonstrate:

• Experience leading cross-functional, multicultural teams and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
